Summary/Artist Statement:

I am a Mixed Media Artist and I have embarked on a wonderful adventure in the field of Book Design Arts. I begin my art career with a degree from the University of Buffalo in Communications Design. I found out very fast that I didn't enjoy the workplace atmosphere, basically I don't play well with others in regards to my artwork. So one day I decided I must be on my own and after lots of soul searching and thinking of what I enjoyed, I begin doing pop-up cards. I signed up for my first art show and when I sold my first card I was hooked. That was 4 years ago. I found out very fast after a few shows that the labor was hard in regards to keeping up with the demand of doing the cards, so at some point I can't recall I did a book for someone or something. I have always loved books and collected them so the evolution was seamless. I have been hooked every since. I returned to school and have been learning all aspects of book design and construction that I can grasp. I am continuing to learn and it's my hope in the coming year to have a few gallery shows. I am able to use so many art mediums that I have been enjoying my wonderful adventure into The Land Of Books.
