Summary/Artist Statement:

Elizabeth was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts before relocating to Upstate New York to earn her MFA degree. She fell in love with the area and found work as an art instructor and then as a graphic designer. Now she concentrates full time on her art, using a wide range of materials and techniques to communicate her ideas about children, the environment and “the stuff we throw away.”
Her work has been shown nationally and internationally and won many awards. She is also the author/illustrator of the popular children’s book, Buffalo Snow. She can be reached at Studio 509 at the Tri-Main Center and online http://www.elizabethleader.com.
