Summary/Artist Statement:

"Living in a rural area in Western New York has influenced my desire to paint the landscape. The quiet atmosphere of the country drew me to plein air painting. This sense of " peace and tranquility" is often seen in my paintings. I use the pastel medium to capture the spirit, strength, beauty, and power that exit in the landscape through light and color."
