Join us during one of our Greater Allentown First Fridays Events!Friday, March 16th, 6-8PM - "Individuals" - Portraits of Starlight Artists by artist Dario Mohr.
Opening reception: March 16th, 5-7PM. Exhibition runs March 13th - April 13th.
Current Exhibitions
"Trifecta" - Three Artists from People Inc.'s The Arts Experience currently on display.
Exhibition runs thru March 9th at Starlight Studio and Art Gallery. Open 9-4pm Mon-Friday.
"Architecture Exposed" - Starlight Photography at the CEPA Galley Members' Exhibition.
Starlight Artists took a Buffalo Walking Tour and captured the beauty of Buffalo. Photographs are on display at CEPA Gallery thru March 17th.
Starlight Studio and Art Gallery provides an open-art studio environment with individualized guidance, goal setting, technical assistance, demonstrations, and critiques for the cultivation of artistic expression with people who have disabilities.
We believe much is gained through the creative artistic process. Not only are visual art skills acquired or developed, the person makes intellectual, emotional and sometimes financial gains as a result of making art.
Through, but not limited to, art exhibitions, public presentations, visits to museums and artists’ studios and community collaborations, participants have the opportunity to broaden their experiences and interface with the public as artists.
Starlight Studio and Art Gallery is a program created by the Learning Disabilities Association of Western New York http://www.ldaofwny.org, with funding from the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities http://www.opwdd.ny.gov/ under the New York State Options for People Through Services Initiative.
