Summary/Artist Statement:

Contemporary Landscape in Pastel
I choose to paint landscape with pastel because the beauty of the land around us and the environment we live in gets ignored. Landscape is an endless source of visual information and inspiration from the least detail to the grandest vista. I am inspired by the magnitude of diversity in the natural world, even in the apparently uninhabited landscape; God must have had and is having a grand time creating. Why do I paint? I want to share the Creator’s enjoyment in work. I can only reflect and modify what creation shows. I think the creation has that Joy in it.
