Summary/Artist Statement:

I think by making handknitted toys and garments for people, it helps keep the "special" and "personal" aspect to the gifts they give their loved ones. I relish the task of recreating a beloved pet, a nostalgic literary character, or a hand knitted centerpiece for a special occasion. The look in the eyes of a customer- of any age- when they see a happy memory or "the perfect gift" in something I've knitted makes every knit and purl emotionally satisfying.
