All artists and galleries are invited to participate in this website and Holiday Open Studios & Galleries.
The mission of Artists in Buffalo, Inc:
- Support, promote and increase the visibility of regional artists, galleries, museums and related arts businesses
- Provide a substantial visual resource that conveys the quality and breadth of art created in our area
- Provide a unique opportunity for the greater community to visit artists in their working environment
- Support Buffalo Niagara region in its quest to be identified as a strong cultural center and its emergence as an arts destination
To fulfill this mission there are currently the 2 areas of concentration including:
Website to highlight individual artists and galleries. This website was redesigned thanks to the generous donation from the Margaret L.Wendt Foundation and the creative and technical talents of Scott Wise of Visual Inclination. There are no fees associated with being listed on the website. It is important to represent the breadth and depth of incredible talent working in the region. It showcases the area as an arts destination for visitors and prospective employees and employers highlighting the cultural and artistic treasures in the city and region.
The Holiday Open Studios and Galleries is held annually the first weekend in December. This event is very successful, and bringing thousands of visitors from the city and surrounding area to participating artist studios and local galleries. Every attempt is made to help artists who do not have a suitable exhibit space in Buffalo find an appropriate venue for this weekend. Go to "member Login " page to sign up!
Currently, all organizational work is performed by volunteer staff, all comers are welcome!

Saturday, December 7th, 2013 and Sunday, December 8th, 2013 from 11 am to 6 pm.
